副教授
1986年毕业于四川美术学院版画系。
1986年至1995年任《四川画报》社美术编辑。
1995年至今任教于四川大学艺术学院。现为艺术学院副教授、硕士研究生导师、宗教学博士生。主要从事中国画、书法、篆刻和宗教艺术的教学与科研工作。四川省书法家协会会员，四川省美术家协会会员，空军都江堰疗养院蓝天书画院院士。

我认为任何从事艺术的人，很重要的是看个人的艺术背景，也就是你所受的教育的背景。我是受传统教育影响比较深入，由于家学因素，所以比较强调关注中国传统绘画的综合性的东西。无论是从中国画、书法、纂刻、诗词、乃至于宗教艺术，我觉得对奠定我的艺术追求来说是很重要的。在我看来，突破很难，就像做学问一样，但做艺术的肯定得具有创造性，需要一些超越性，这是艺术家的终极情怀。

In my opinion, an artist’s personal art background is important; equally so is an artist’s education and training. My pursuit of art is intimately related to my personal background; therefore, my foci were based on the holistic characteristics of Chinese traditional art, such as Chinese painting, calligraphy, seal, poetry, and religious art. I feel that my integrity as an artist is also connected to the pursuit of creative new ideas and transformation of thoughts. Despite enormous difficulties, we as artists should continuously aspire to achieve breakthroughs in art.
