艺术创作是自我内心感悟和个人审美经验的表达 。我所认为的花鸟画不单应有传统的笔墨表现，更要体现一种美感，特别是当今的花鸟画更要具有时代的气息，使之符合现代的审美情趣。我的花鸟画则追求一种色墨交融，灵动斑驳的美感。画面中通过水、墨、色相互冲撞形成天然的痕迹，进而因势利导将无意变成有意，将偶然变成必然，从而形成自己想要的画面形态。因此，在熟宣上画写意，并辅之工笔晕染的技法，则能很好的实现我所要的效果——浓淡相宜、虚实相生，给人以朦胧似是而非的视觉感受。这样的非传统的表现方式也是我进行的花鸟画从古典形态向现代形态转型的探索……

Art creation is an expression of inner feeling and a reflection of individual appreciation of beauty. In my opinion, the Chinese bird and flower painting should embody the aesthetics of an era and better fit the current time. My works pursue a flexible beauty by capturing the natural contrast and spontaneous formation of water, color, and ink on rice papers. Therefore, I mainly use freehand brushwork to accompany more refined brushwork in my paintings to create loose forming shapes, so that my art elicits unrestrictive feeling as I balance the blankness and fullness in the work. This nontraditional expression is the exploration that I am working on.
