先后毕业于四川美术学院，四川大学。
任教于四川大学艺术学院，一直从事当代艺术的实验与探索。

我最近的作品主要包括两个主题。鸡飞系列作品借用中国传统花鸟画的构造样式，用独创的语言与图式来暗喻中国的社会结构和生活本质。身体系列作品所表现的主题是身体不只属于我们自己，它更多地折射出社会生活的烙印。身体从来都不仅仅属于我们自己，它更是社会生活的载体和零件，是全部社会生活的基础，要想控制思想，最好的办法就是控制它寓居的身体，这些身体承载了太多社会生活信息，如果把身体当成一个社会生活的符号来看待，可以表达出很多意义，当然，这时的身体就具备了精神品质。

My present artworks include two themes. The series of flying chickens borrows the structural styles of Chinese traditional flower and bird painting and uses this unique pictorial language as a metaphor for the social structure of China and its current quality of life. The series of the body demonstrates how our body does not belong to ourselves but is part of and a carrier of social life. If we want to control the mind, the best means is to control the body, which bears immense information about society. If we regard the body as a symbol, it can communicate endless messages to us.
